Finn Wolfhard

Finn Wolfhard is a Canadian actor and musician. He is famous for his role of Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things and also for Richie Tozier in the 2017 film adaptation of Stephen King’s It. As a musician, he is the lead vocalist for the rock band Calpurnia. Finn Wolfhard is also the lead guitarist for the same band.

Wolfhard signed his first acting job with Craigslist. Finn made his television debut in The 100, and then he played the role of Jordie Pinsky in Supernatural.

In 2016, Finn Wolfhard started to play the role of Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things, a Netflix series. It was this role where Finn Wolfhard got even wider recognition. He auditioned for the role via video. The cast of Stranger Things won a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Finn Wolfhard played Richie Tozier in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s It (2017). It is a mere coincidence that the casting of Wolfhard in both Stranger Things and It is set in the ’80s.

Finn is going to voice “Player”, the titular character’s chief accomplice and friend in the Netflix animated series Carmen Sandiego, which will consist twenty episodes and is due to premiere in 2019. Finn Wolfhard also joined the cast of The Goldfinch, the John Crowley-directed adaptation of the Donna Tartt’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, and played the role of Young Boris Pavlikovsky, a Ukrainian student, and troublemaker in 2018.
